Workshops for Professionals:

Prompt Engineering

Goal

Dive into the world of prompt engineering with our 2.5-hour course, designed to turn beginners into savvy users through hands-on experiences and expert guidance. Starting with interactive prompting, you'll quickly get your hands dirty. Our course demystifies concepts like zero-shot, many-shot, and chain-of-thought prompting, before moving onto role prompts, examples, instructions, and queries. Tackle real-life problems using these techniques, ensuring what you learn isn't just theory. We'll wrap everything up with a summary, leaving you equipped and ready to explore the possibilities of AI. Join us to unlock the potential of prompt engineering.

Definition

Prompt engineering is the process of structuring text that can be interpreted and understood by a generative AI model. A prompt is natural language text describing the task that an AI should perform. It is optimized to fit the context available in that model. A complete prompt typically consists of an instruction prompt,  a role prompt, examples (both positive and negative, with expected outputs), and a query.

Target Audience

Data professionals, managers and other people who want to work with GenAI professionally. No previous knowledge required.
